Hannah Appleton
I am a December 2009 graduate of the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, with a B.A. in Spanish and a minor in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I am currently serving in Americorps as a bilingual paraeducator for a Hispanic newcomers preschool program. Throughout college, I was very involved with Miss America pageants- I never won a crown but I did win some great awards and scholarship money, and I also gained all kinds of knowledge about pageantry and beauty in general. I have also done some modeling; I have mostly done local, unpublished work, but this summer I captured the title of Miss Green Bay, WI for the International Bikini team and was selected for a photoshoot in the Bahamas! I love to travel internationally and experience new languages and cultures- I studied abroad in Mexico for two semesters, and I spent a summer in France and two weeks in Panama. This September, I will be leaving for a year of missions work and teaching English in Madrid, Spain! I'm very excited!
I love to write and am very eager to get my work out there for the rest of the world to enjoy!
